Originally from Taiwan, IChao Wang is an Illustrator and Industrial Designer based in Tokyo. His crossdisciplinary studies enable him to draw forth rich and complex storylines in his artworks and imbue them with more relevance to audiences’ lives.

After receiving his BFA at National Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan, IChao went to New York in 2007 to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology where he earned an MFA in Illustration. Driven by the desire to make things, he further studied Industrial Design in the Master’s program at Pratt Institute. Upon graduation, IChao worked as an art assistant at Kaikai Kiki NY, where he broadened his vision in art production. This experience sparked his interest in Japanese culture, later paving his way to Japan.

He has been working as an artist and designer at Terrada Warehouse since, where he creates artworks in cooperation with various projects, such as paintings, murals and visual designs. Now he is moving one step further in pursuing his career as a visual artist/ designer in Japan.
